2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that sets out a life test method for gear hobs. It describes the test blanks, the cutting fluids, the test equipment and the cutting specifications used in the test, the criterion by which hob life is judged, the test procedure and the handling of the resulting data.
