JB/T 10896-2008 is the English-translated version of 推杆式可控气氛渗碳线 热处理技术要求.
JB/T 10896-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for heat treatment carried out on pusher-type controlled atmosphere carburizing lines.
It sets out the process control requirements for carburizing steel parts on such a line, together with equipment indicators and requirements for energy consumption measurement, reliability, safety and environmental protection.
It is written for high-volume production of carburized parts with a single-piece mass from 0.1 kg to 40 kg and a case depth from 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm. The carburizing furnace it addresses is electrically heated, so the standard does not cover fuel-fired furnaces, nor flexible heat treatment lines that combine pusher furnaces with rotary hearth furnaces.
Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 9450, GB/T 13324 and JB/T 10312. It is classified under J36 and under ICS 25.200.
