JB/T 10846-2008 is the English-translated version of 矿用隔爆型绞车电控装置.

JB/T 10846-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the flameproof electrical control devices used with mine winches. For these control devices it fixes the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with the provisions on signs, the instruction manual, packaging, transport and storage. They are used with electrically driven coal mine winches, and the control they exercise covers the whole sequence of starting, speed regulation, stopping and reversing of the flameproof three-phase AC wound-rotor motor, as well as the power brake.
