1 Scope

This standard specifies positioning shafts for lathes with Morse tapers No. 2 to No. 6 and metric tapers No. 80 to No. 100.

The taper shank is a Morse taper of No. 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6; the taper surface has a surface roughness of Ra 0,8 µm and the shoulder a run-out tolerance of 0,004 mm, the remaining surfaces being Ra 6,3 µm.
