Scope

JB/T 10045-2017 is the English-translated version of 热切割 质量和几何技术规范.

JB/T 10045-2017 deals with the geometrical product specification and the quality tolerances of thermally cut surfaces. It gives terms and definitions, symbols, tolerances of form and position, the measurement of surface quality, the assessment of cut surface quality, dimensional tolerances, marking and the technical documentation.

The standard applies to oxygen cutting of material from 3 mm to 300 mm thick, plasma cutting from 1 mm to 150 mm and laser cutting from 0.5 mm to 40 mm. It is a modified adoption of ISO 9013:2002.

Issued on 7 November 2017, it replaces JB/T 10045.1-1999, JB/T 10045.2-1999, JB/T 10045.3-1999, JB/T 10045.4-1999 and JB/T 10045.5-1999, and has applied since 1 April 2018.
