Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard was proposed by the Tianjin Seawater Desalination and Comprehensive Utilization Research Institute of the State Oceanic Administration.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Marine Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC283).
Introduction
The seawater technology for large domestic use is a direct seawater utilization technology that uses pretreated seawater as domestic miscellaneous water (mainly used for toilet flushing).
Techniques mainly include seawater intake, pre-treatment, water transmission and distribution, and seawater-containing sewage treatment technologies. Its series of design specifications are determined by it is composed of "Code for Design of Application System" and "Code for Design of Seawater Post-treatment for Large-scale Domestic Use".
Among them, HY/T 168-2013 "Code for Design of Seawater Post-treatment for Large-scale Domestic Use" is divided into four parts.
---Part 1: Activated sludge method;
---Part 2: Contact oxidation method;
---Part 3: Membrane Bioreactor Method;
---Part 4: Ecological pond method.

Domesticseawater
Sea water used for toilet flushing in public and residential toilets.
Seawaterconsumption
The amount of sea water consumed by the user for life.
Unforeseendemand
The amount of water prepared for various factors that are difficult to predict in the design of a large domestic seawater system.
Note. Rewrite GB 50013-2006, definition 2.0.8.
Leakage of pipe network the amount of water lost by seawater in the process of distribution.
Note. Rewrite GB 50013-2006 and define 2.0.10.
Dailyvariationcoefficient the ratio of the highest daily seawater consumption to the average daily seawater consumption in the large domestic seawater system.
Note. Rewrite GB 50013-2006 and define 2.0.12.
Hourlyvariationcoefficient in the design of a large domestic seawater system, the ratio of seawater consumption on the highest day to the average seawater consumption on that day.
