1 Foreword

HY/T 0294-2020 was issued by Ministry of Natural Resources of the People's Republic of China on 28 June 2020 and has been in force since 1 October 2020.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the tsunami buoy system's marine preparation, marine operation requirements, deployment, marine patrol and maintenance, recovery, and post-recovery maintenance and maintenance. This standard is applicable to the marine operations of tsunami buoy systems with surface buoys with a diameter of no more than 3m. Other tsunami buoy systems for surface buoys with different diameters can be implemented as reference.
