HG/T 6466-2026 specifies thermoplastic check valves made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), unplasticized and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U, PVC-C), homopolymer polypropylene (PPH), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and glass fibre reinforced polypropylene (FRPP). It covers materials, design, manufacture and assembly of parts, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to flanged, butt-connection and wafer-type check valves with nominal pressure PN not more than 1.0 MPa and nominal size DN15 mm to DN300 mm, hereafter called check valves (code H). Working temperature ranges are: ABS -40 °C to 70 °C; PVC-U -5 °C to 60 °C; PVC-C -5 °C to 95 °C; PPH -10 °C to 90 °C; PVDF -40 °C to 120 °C; FRPP -14 °C to 100 °C.

Valve manufacturers, chemical plant designers and operators, buyers and test laboratories use it. It is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 16 April 2026, and it takes effect on 1 November 2026. It is a new standard.
