HG/T 6454-2026 is the English-translated version of 光学级聚酯薄膜（PET）耐高温保护膜.

This standard deals with the high temperature resistant protective film based on optical-grade polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. It specifies the product structure, requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to optical-grade PET high temperature resistant protective films used in high-temperature processes in the display industry, where the film protects a surface while the part passes through a hot manufacturing step.

Producers of protective films, display manufacturers that use them in their processes, and test laboratories can rely on it when agreeing the product and checking deliveries. It is voluntary, as the /T in the code indicates. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 16 April 2026 and becomes effective on 1 November 2026. It is a new standard.
