Scope
HG/T 4899-2016 is the English-translated version of 硬脂酸钴.
HG/T 4899-2016 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for cobalt stearate. It sets the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for the product, together with the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope is the cobalt salt obtained by the neutralization reaction of a basic cobaltous compound with stearic acid. The standard carries Chinese classification G71 and international classification 71.100.40, which group it with the rubber compounding and auxiliary chemicals. The determinations are performed together with GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 533-2008, GB/T 601-2002, GB/T 603-2002, GB/T 6679-2003, GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 8170-2008 and GB/T 11409-2008. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
