HG/T 4736-2014 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that describes how to determine the reducing capacity of reduction clearing agents used as textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries. Reduction clearing is the after-treatment that strips loose dye from the fibre surface, and the strength of the agent is what this method measures. The procedure is intended for reduction clearing agents of the textile auxiliaries family. It uses GB/T 601-2002 and GB/T 603-2002, GB/T 6682-2008 and GB/T 8170-2008. Issued on 24 December 2014, it has applied since 1 June 2015.
