HG/T 4545-2013 is the English-translated version of 氯氧化锆生产废弃物回收方法.
HG/T 4545-2013 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that sets out the recovery method for the waste material produced when zirconium oxychloride is manufactured. It describes how the spent caustic soda lye and the chlor-alkali silicon slag formed during the acid stage of that process are recovered and returned to use. Its scope is the recycling of that waste alkali liquor and of the silicon slag generated in production, not the manufacture of the zirconium oxychloride itself. The standard carries the Chinese classification Z05 and the international classifications 13.030.10 and 13.030.20. It quotes HG/T 2568. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
