HG/T 4494-2013 is the English-translated version of 工业用多楔带.

HG/T 4494-2013 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for V-ribbed belts for industrial use. It defines the construction of the belt, the type designations and markings and the cross-sectional dimensions, and then gives the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, followed by marking, labeling, packaging, transport and storage. The belts it covers are the industrial V-ribbed type, shortened in the text to V-ribbed belt. It is a recommended standard, classified G42 in China and ICS 21.220.10. Dimensional and test references are taken from GB/T 16588-2009 and GB/T 17516.2-1998. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
