HG/T 4388-2012 is the English-translated version of 对叔丁基酚醛增粘树脂（204树脂）.
HG/T 4388-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for p-tert-butylphenol formaldehyde tackifying resin, the product known in the trade as 204 resin. It types the resin and sets its requirements, then gives test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transport and storage. The grades in scope are those synthesised from p-tert-butylphenol and formaldehyde. It is a recommended standard, classified G71 in China and 71.100.40 internationally with the other rubber chemicals. GB/T 191, GB/T 6678, GB/T 8170, GB/T 11409 and GB/T 14074 are cited for sampling, marking and analysis. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
