HG/T 4385-2012 is the English-translated version of 有机硅洗浆消泡剂.

HG/T 4385-2012 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for silicone defoamers used in pulp washing. It divides the products into types and then gives the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to silicone defoamers whose active body is polydimethylsiloxane and that are used in the washing stage of pulp making. Classification places it at G71 in China and at ICS 71.100.40. It works with GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 6678-2008, GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 8170-2008, GB/T 12579-2002, GB/T 26527-2011 and JJF 1070. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
