HG/T 4255-2011 is the English-translated version of N-乙基-N-磺酸苄基苯胺.
HG/T 4255-2011 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for N-ethyl-N-(sulfobenzyl)aniline, one of the intermediates used in dye manufacture. It fixes the product requirements, the sampling, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with the marking, labeling, packaging, transport and storage arrangements, and is used to control product quality. Alongside the main grade it also covers N-ethyl-N-(3'-sulfobenzyl)aniline. The Chinese classification G56 places it with organic dye intermediates, and the international classifications given are 71.100.01 and 87.060.10. It quotes GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 2386-2006, GB/T 6678-2003, GB/T 6682-2008 and GB/T 8170-2008. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
