HG/T 4189-2011 is the English-translated version of 聚氯乙烯取水定额.
HG/T 4189-2011 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard laying down the norm of water intake for the production of polyvinyl chloride. It gives the terms and definitions used for the water quota, the method by which the quota is calculated, and the fixed quantity of water allowed per tonne of product. The standard is applied in managing water use at plants making PVC by the calcium carbide route and by the ethylene oxychlorination route. Its calculations follow GB/T 12452. Issued on 15 June 2011, it has applied since 1 October 2011.
