HG/T 4063-2008 is a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard covering ethoxylated fatty amines for industrial use. It gives the classification of the product, the technical requirements, the sampling, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the addition products of ethylene oxide with higher fatty alkyl (C8 to C22) primary amines, secondary amines and N-fatty alkyl-1,3-diamines. It states plainly that it does not apply to the ethoxylated derivatives of amide-containing amines or of imidazolines. Its test work uses GB/T 7380, GB/T 8170 and GB/T 9290. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
