HG/T 4043-2008 is the English-translated version of 螯合分散剂.

HG/T 4043-2008 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for chelating dispersants. It specifies the product requirements, the sampling, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage. It is written for the quality control of the anionic chelating dispersant, an auxiliary used in pre-treatment, dyeing, soaping and similar processes, where it softens the water, disperses the calcium soap precipitate of the dye bath and keeps the dye from aggregating. The sampling and analytical conventions come from GB/T 601-2002, GB/T 603-2002, GB/T 1250-1989, GB/T 6678-2003 and GB/T 6682. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
