HG/T 3956-2016 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for 2-naphthylamine-3,6,8-trisulfonic acid, the dye intermediate commonly called amino K acid. It fixes the requirements for the product and describes sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labelling, packaging, transport and storage. The standard is written for the quality control of 2-naphthylamine-3,6,8-trisulfonic acid products. Its analytical work relies on GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 2381, GB/T 6678-2003, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 8170-2008. It replaces the earlier edition HG/T 3956-2007, and it is a recommended standard carrying Chinese classification G56. Issued on 5 April 2016, it has applied since 1 September 2016.
