HG/T 3835-2006 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that describes how the density of a pigment is determined once the entrapped air has been driven out of the sample with a centrifuge. The method it gives is a general one, meant to serve pigments as a class. Where that general method does not suit a particular product, the standard for that product has to state the centrifuging conditions the determination requires. The text is a modified adoption of ISO 787/23-1979 and is used with GB/T 1713 and GB 9285. It took the place of GB/T 11188-1989. Issued on 27 July 2006, it has applied since 11 October 2006.
