Scope

HG/T 3381-2003 is the English-translated version of 脱漆剂.

HG/T 3381-2003 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for paint remover. It sits in classification G51 and under ICS 87.040, the headings that gather the thinners, removers and other paint auxiliaries of the HG/T series, and it is a product standard for the remover itself rather than for any coating. Like the other auxiliary standards issued with it, it carries the requirements placed on the product together with the methods of test, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging and storage. GB/T 1250 is quoted in it. It takes the place of the two earlier documents HG/T 3381-1987 and HG/T 3382-1987. Issued on 9 January 2004, it has applied since 1 May 2004.
