HG/T 3334-2012 is the English-translated version of 电泳涂料通用试验方法.
HG/T 3334-2012 gathers the general test methods peculiar to electrophoretic coatings and is a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It describes the procedures that are specific to this class of coating rather than common to paints in general. The methods apply to anodic and cathodic electrodeposition coatings alike, and to the electrophoretic coating films obtained from them. They are carried out in conjunction with GB/T 601-2002, GB/T 1725-2007, GB/T 6682, GB/T 9271-2008 and GB/T 23989-2009. The standard takes the place of six earlier documents: HG/T 3334-1977, HG/T 3335-1977, HG/T 3336-1977, HG/T 3337-1977, HG/T 3338-1977 and HG/T 3339-1979. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
