HG/T 20707-2014 is the chemical industry standard for checking and rating the quality of geotechnical investigation results. It sets the basis and the content of the quality inspection, the procedure to be followed, the qualifications required of the people who carry out the inspection and the evaluation, and the quality requirements the results are measured against. It is written for the geotechnical investigation done for chemical industry projects and carries the classification P72. The investigation work itself follows the quoted standards GB 50021, GB/T 50123, GB/T 50266 and JGJ/T 87. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
