Foreword

This document is a report-type guidance technical document.

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document modifies and adopts IEC TR62964:2015, "Graphical symbols for equipment – Current specification for graphic symbols for multimedia equipment".

The document type has been changed from an IEC technical report to a national standardization guidance technical document of my country.

The technical differences between this document and IEC TR62964:2015, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---The standardized graphic symbol "Slide Show" in Table 1 of IEC TR62964:2015 has been removed, and a new graphic symbol has been added.

Examples of "high dynamic range imaging" applications (see Table 1) are provided to conform to the current status of this type of notation and increase the timeliness of the standard;

--- Added standardized graphic symbols for "television; video; screen", "transmitting images", "image exchange", "recording, general symbol", and "still life".

"Camera" and its application examples, adapted to the current practical application situation in my country (see Table 1);

---The standardized graphic symbol "sound; audio" and its application examples have been added to adapt to the current practical application situation in my country (see...).

Table 2);

---Added "Guidelines for Graphic Symbols" to adapt to the current practical application situation in my country (see 4.4).

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---The standard name has been changed to "Specification for Graphical Symbols for Electrical Equipment and Graphical Symbols for Multimedia Equipment";

---IEC 60417 has been replaced by GB/T 5465.2-2023 (see Chapter 1, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4) for informational reference;

---Removed section 4.1 of IEC TR62964:2015."For IEC publications, in accordance with ISO/IEC Guide Part 2.

The relevant rules in 2011, 6.6.5.6, use the graphic symbols in IEC 60417, and "considering the difficulties that may be encountered when following the rules..." this is difficult; IEC 62648 provides a series of procedures containing solutions, which are consistent with IEC Guide 108.

Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document assumes no responsibility for identifying patents.

This document was proposed and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Electrical and Information Structures, Documentation and Graphic Symbols (SAC/TC27).
