1 Scope

This document provides manufacturers of low voltage switchgear and controlgear and their complete equipment with the ability to assess and improve the environmental impact of their products.

Note 1.The general methods and processes for performing LCA comply with the requirements of ISO 14044 and GB/T 24040, but this document does not describe these methods and processes.

NOTE 3 This is to encourage manufacturers to apply more effective quantitative methods in the ECD process to improve the environmental efficiency of their products.
