8 size and structure

This chapter of GB/T 9364.1-2015 is applicable with the following modifications.

8.2 Structure

In the case where an "opaque" fuse is specified, a transparent envelope (housing) may be used as long as a light-shielding filler is provided.

Pass the inspection to check if it is qualified.

This section is based on the assumption that the shell material is glass, ceramic or similar non-combustible material.

For other materials, additional testing may be required.

8.3 terminal

There should be a cylindrical metal end cap at each end of the fuse link.

The outer end of the end cap should be generally straight and at right angles to the axis.

The end cap should be securely fastened to ensure that the end cap cannot be removed without damaging the fuse.

Compliance is checked by inspection and the following tests.

The sample was immersed in water at 15 ° C ~ 35 ° C for 24 h. After the sample is taken out of the water, the axial tension is evenly applied to each end cap to

5N, keep 1min.

The end cap should remain securely fastened.

Figure 4 specifies the device to which this test applies and should be used in case of dispute. The end cap does not deform when tested using the device.

8.4 Terminal alignment and shape

The end cap and housing of the fuse link should achieve reasonable alignment.

Compliance is checked using the standard gauge shown in Figure 5.

With the fuse body's own weight, the entire length of the fuse link should pass the standard gauge.

9 Electrical requirements

This chapter of GB/T 9364.1-2015 is applicable with the following modifications.

9.3 breaking capacity

9.3.1 Operating conditions

increase.

This test should use alternating current.

Figure 6 specifies the typical test circuit for the rated high breaking capacity test; Figure 7 specifies the typical test circuit for the rated low breaking capacity test.

road. Test fuse holders in accordance with Figure 3 should be used.

The typical test circuit for the rated high breaking capacity test shall have a power factor of 0.7 to 0.8. Circuit when tested at smaller expected currents

The electrical inductance remains the same and the current should only be adjusted by changing the resistance.

9.3.2 In addition to the failure criteria specified in GB/T 9364.1-2015, the fuse-link shall be able to operate satisfactorily without occurrence of each test.

List any phenomenon.

---The contacts are fused together;

--- The mark after the test is difficult to identify;

--- The perforation visible to the naked eye appears on the outer surface of the end cap.

The following phenomena can be ignored.

--- Black spots appear on the end caps;

---The end cap is slightly deformed;

--- Fused body cracks.

The device has three tubes (1, 2, 3) that slide inside each other within the tube.

The upper end of the outer tube (1) has an opening and a fixture capable of catching one end of the test sample.

The upper end of the middle tube (2) has a groove and a fixture that can catch the other end of the test sample.

The inner tube (3) is connected to the tube (2) by a spring (4).

The spring (4) is stretched with a knob (5) to move the tube (3) downward, at which time a steady increase in axial force acts on the tube (2) and the test sample.

The different lengths of the fuse body cap and the entire fuse link will be compensated by the sliding tube (2). The lower end (6) of the tube (2) is exposed in the observation window (7) and used as a fiducial mark.

Another mark (short line) together with the character "5N" is printed on the tube (3). Fully move the knob (5) down to align the two marks and tighten the knob (5)

position.

The screw (8) ensures that the tube (1) and tube (2) are aligned.

The test unit is in a vertical position and can be used and calibrated when the test fuse is at the top.
