This Part was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Part replaced GB/T 9074.18-2002 Tapping Screw and Washer Assemblies with

Plain Washers; compared with GB/T 9074.18-2002, this Part has the major technical

changes as follows.

--- Add slotted pan head tapping screw with chamfered end (Type-R) (see Figure

3).

This Part adopts re-drafting method to modify and sue ISO 10510.2011 Tapping Screw

and Washer Assemblies with Plain Washers.

The technical differences and their causes between ISO 10510.2011 and this Part are

as follows.

--- In the normative references, use national standards to replace the international

standards (see Clause 2); add the reference of GB/T 5276 (see Clause 3), GB/T

1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 9074 specifies type and dimension, technical conditions and marking

of tapping screw and washer assemblies with plain washers.

This Part is Applicable to the tapping screw and washer assemblies with plain washers

for Thread Specification ST 2.2 ~ ST 9.5, flat supporting surface, and the mechanical

properties conforming to GB/T 3098.5.
