Foreword

GB/T 879 "elastic cylindrical pin" consists of five parts.

---GB/T 879.1 elastic cylindrical pin straight groove heavy;

---GB/T 879.2 Elastic cylindrical pin straight groove light;

---GB/T 879.3 elastic cylindrical pin rolled heavy;

---GB/T 879.4 elastic cylindrical pin rolling standard type;

---GB/T 879.5 Elastic cylindrical pin for light weight.

This part is the second part of GB/T 879.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 879.2-2000 "elastic cylindrical pin straight groove light type", compared with GB/T 879.2-2000, the main technology

The changes are as follows.

---Change the nominal diameter size code (see Chapter 1, Figure 1, Table 1);

--- For high quality carbon steel, C>=0.64 is changed to C>=0.65 (see Table 2);

--- Increase the provisions for "non-chain flexible sales (N type)" (see Figure 1 and Table 2);

--- For steel, martensitic stainless steel elastic pin, increase the hardness test provisions (see Table 2);

--- For steel elastic pins, increase the technical requirements for non-electrolytic zinc sheet coating according to GB/T 5267.2 (see Table 2);

--- For stainless steel elastic pins, increase the passivation treatment technical requirements according to GB/T 5267.4 (see Table 2).

This section uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 13337.2009 "elastic cylindrical pin straight slot light".

The technical differences with ISO 13337.2009 and their reasons are as follows.

--- In the normative reference documents, replace the international standards with Chinese standards (see Chapter 2), increase the reference GB/T 879.1 (see paragraph 1)

Corruption requirements;

--- For stainless steel elastic pins, increase the passivation treatment technical requirements according to GB/T 5267.4 (see Table 2) to meet the stainless steel elastic pin surface

Anti-corrosion requirements;

--- Add "if other technical requirements or surface treatment, should be provided by the supply and demand agreement" (see Table 2) to expand the scope of use of the product;

--- Increase packaging technical requirements (see Table 2) to meet the basic standards of fasteners in China;

---In Table 2, add an angle note "b When using electroplating or phosphating, hydrogen embrittlement is unavoidable, and hydrogen treatment should be taken immediately (see

--- Modify the tag example as a simplified tag example (see 6.2) to comply with the provisions of GB/T 1237.

Elastic cylindrical pin straight groove light

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 879 specifies the type dimensions, applications, technical conditions and markings of straight grooved, lightweight spring pins.

This section applies to the nominal diameter d1=2mm~50mm, the material is steel, austenitic and martensitic stainless steel, with straight groove and light weight

Loaded elastic cylindrical pin.

Note. The selection of the nominal diameter should be considered. the elastic pin can be loaded into another pin or used in combination with the heavy duty pin specified in GB/T 879.1.
