Foreword

This standard is equivalent to international standards ISO 9772:2001 (English Version) "--- small foam sample at the level of a small flame burning conditions Burning performance measurement. " the standard ISO 9772:2001 (E) mainly made the following editorial changes.

--- Deleted international standards foreword;

--- The 4th chapter of international standards listed in Appendix B of this standard;

--- International standard precision data included in Appendix C of this standard;

--- The revised International Standard ISO , the sample 9772.2001/Amd1.2003 (E) directly written standards.

This standard replaces GB/T 8332-1987 "foam burning behavior of horizontal burning method." this standard and GB/T 8332-1987 compared to the main changes are as follows.

--- Adopt different standards, this revision is identical with ISO 9772:2001 (E), the original standard is equivalent to ISO 3582. 1978;

--- Increase the informative Appendix A, grading system;

--- Increase the informative Appendix B, for a description of the test;

--- Increase the informative appendix C, ISO 9772 precision.

The Standard Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C is informative appendix.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the foam using horizontal combustion performance.

This standard applies to assessment under laboratory conditions according to ISO 845. 1985 Determination of density less than 250kg/m3 foam small specimens in the small flame combustion performance levels.

This standard does not assess the actual conditions of use as a fire under risk basis.

3 Terms and Definitions

ISO/IEC 13943:2000 and established the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
