This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 73-1985 "Slotted set screws", and GB/T 73-1985 compared to the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Reference thread standard uniform GB/T 193, GB/T 9145 (see Chapter 2, Table 2);

--- Increasing M3.5 thread size (see Table 1);

--- Increase the general technical conditions according to GB/T 16938 (see Table 2);

--- Stainless steel performance rating modified. A1-12H (see Table 2);

--- Increase non-ferrous metal CU2, CU3 (see Table 2);

--- Steel screws, remove the surface oxidation, increase the untreated and non-electrolytic zinc coating technology requirements according to GB/T 5267.2

(See table 2);

--- Stainless steel screws, remove untreated, add simple processing and passivation processing technology requirements according to GB/T 5267.4 (see Table 2);

--- Added "For other technical requirements or surface treatment, by the supply and demand agreement" (see Table 2);

--- Increase the surface of the steel screw defects (see Table 2).

This standard uses redrafted Law Amendment uses ISO 4766.2011 "slotted flat set screws."

This standard and ISO 4766.2011 technical differences and the reasons are as follows.

--- Deleted ISO 4766 "For other technical requirements, ISO 3506-3 and ISO 4759-1" (see paragraph 1

Chapter), does not belong to the content of this standard;

--- Normative references, with our standard instead of international standards (see Chapter 2), increase the reference GB/T 90.2 (see Table 2) and

GB/T 1237 (see 5.1), remove the reference to ISO 965-3 to meet the basic standards of our fastener;

--- Increased steel and stainless steel screw performance level "d < 1.6mm. According to the agreement" (see Table 2), a clear specification of small product performance level

1 Scope

This standard specifies the type size, technical conditions and marking slotted flat set screws.

This standard applies to thread specifications M1.2 ~ M12, product level A-level slotted flat set screws.
