Scope
GB/T 6370-2012 (Surface active agents -- Anionic surface active agents -- Determination of solubility in water) is available as an English-translated PDF.
GB/T 6370-2012 — This standard specifies a representation of anionic surfactants in water solubility curve as a function of the method, which it obtained in to solubility at a given temperature.
This standard applies to pure surfactant, but also for industrial products and liquid anionic surfactant complex products, as long as these products the solution is clear and transparent, color is not too deep.
With the solubility curve of pure product obtained can be used to determine Clough (Krafft) temperature.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 6370-1996 "surfactant anionic surfactant solubility in water Determination," and GB/T 6370-1996 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Remove the ISO foreword;
--- To adopt standard degree of modification adopted;
--- Added "Terms and definitions" (see Chapter 3);
--- Increase the informative Appendix A.
This standard uses redrafted law revision using ISO 6839. 1982 "anionic surfactant solubility in water determination." this standard and ISO 6839. 1982, compared with more adjustment in the structure, listed in Appendix A of this standard and ISO 6839. 1982's Reg number control list.
This standard and ISO 6839. 1982 technical differences and their reasons are as follows.
Love --- on normative references, this standard has been adjusted technical differences, in order to adapt to China's technical conditions, adjustment Focus is reflected in the status of Chapter 2, "Normative references", the specific adjustments are as follows.
- equivalents using the international standard GB/T 6372-2006 instead of ISO 607 (see Chapter 4);
- increase cited GB/T 6682-2008 (see 5.2).
--- Increasing the terms and definitions, to be explained in terms and definitions covered by this standard, in order to allow standard users to better understand the meaning.
The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee Chemistry (specialty) surfactant Technical Committee (SAC/TC63/SC8) centralized.
This standard was drafted. Zhejiang Real Technology Co., Ltd.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Solubility in water Under certain temperature, the maximum level of surfactant dissolved in water quality expressed as a percentage.
Kraft (Krafft) temperature Kraffttemperature Solubility steep temperature ionic surfactants (in fact within a narrow temperature range). At this temperature, which was dissolved it is equal to the critical micelle concentration.
The solubility limit temperature limitingtemperatureofsolubility when the same two concentrations of the solution in a water bath to reach equilibrium, the supernatant is still clear, turbid or turbid solution was still very slowly from the cloud to clear, or by the Qing temperature water bath time becomes cloudy.
Solubility curve curveofsolubility Depending on the concentration range set by different amounts of sample was weighed, its solubility limit temperature were measured and plotted and the corresponding concentration of dissolved Degree temperature limit is a function of the curve.
4 Sampling
According to the provisions of GB/T 6372-2006 sampling, sample preparation and storage.
