Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard replaces GB/T 6291-1999 "folder Pliers and nippers twist test", compared with the GB/T 6291-1999, major change of the following.

--- Test Method for increasing the basic size (edition 3.1);

--- Increase the performance of test methods (edition 3.2);

--- Increasing the clamp shaft hardness test methods and cutting edge hardness (edition 3.6);

--- Increased testing methods pliers water pump pliers and flexural strength (1999 version 3.6, this version 3.8);

--- Modify the round-nose pliers, torque test piece size (1999 version 3.9, this version 3.10);

--- This standard has been modified to the structure and presentation standards.

This standard uses redrafted law revision using ISO 5744:2004 "folder Pliers and nippers twist test method." this standard and ISO 5744. compared to 2004 in the structure have more adjustments listed in this standard and ISO 5744 in Appendix A.2004 Reg number compared to the control list.

Technical differences exist compared to 2004, the terms of these differences has been involved through its outer margin bit. This standard and ISO 5744 Opposing vertical single line (|) were labeled, given a list of corresponding technical differences and their reasons in Appendix B.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the folder twist pliers, cutting pliers and test methods for torsional shear clamp pliers.

This standard applies to ships operating with a twist clip pliers, cutting pliers cutting pliers and pinch twist.

This standard does not apply to live working with pliers tongs and special operations.
