1 Scope

GB/T 6002.17-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the vocabulary of the ring twister - the spindle and the ring and traveller, the creel and the take-up, the twist and its direction, and the terms for the settings and the faults that appear in the yarn. Part 17 of the series, first edition, under the China National Textile and Apparel Council. In force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document defines the terminology and definitions for ring twisting machines. This document applies to ring twisting machines.
