Scope
GB/T 47668-2026 is the English-translated version of 燃料电池发电系统 噪声测试方法.
GB/T 47668-2026 sets out how to measure the noise emitted by a fuel cell power system.
It defines the acoustic terms it uses, such as sound pressure and sound pressure level, and specifies the test conditions, the measuring instruments and their installation, data acquisition, the test methods, the calculation of results, data recording and the content of the test report.
The method is written for proton exchange membrane fuel cell power systems running on hydrogen; other types of fuel cell power system may use it as a reference.
It relies on GB/T 3785.1 for sound level meters, GB/T 15173 for acoustic calibrators and GB 4962 for the safe use of hydrogen. It was issued on 2 July 2026 and applies from 1 February 2027.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
1 Scope
This document defines the terms used for noise testing of fuel cell power generation systems, specifies the test conditions and the requirements for test instruments, installation and data acquisition, and describes the corresponding test methods, data calculation, data recording and test report.
This document applies to proton exchange membrane fuel cell power generation systems that use hydrogen as fuel. Other types of fuel cell power generation systems may refer to it.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents, through normative references within the text, constitute essential provisions of this document. Dated citations are not included.
For references to documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 28816-2020, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1 Sound pressure
The difference between the instantaneous total pressure and the corresponding static pressure.
Note: The unit of sound pressure is Pascal (Pa). [Source: GB/T 3785.1-2023, 3.1, with modifications]
3.2 Sound pressure level
Ten times the logarithm to base 10 of the ratio of the time mean square of the sound pressure p to the square of the reference sound pressure p0.
Note: The unit of sound pressure level is decibel (dB), and the reference sound pressure is 20 µPa (in air). [Source: GB/T 3785.1-2023, 3.2, with modifications]
