Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document is modified to adopt ISO 12319:2006 "Aerospace P-type (ring) clamp procurement specification".
Compared with ISO 12319:2006, this document has undergone the following structural adjustments.
---Sections 4.1 and 5.1 in ISO 12319:2006 have been deleted, and subsequent section numbers will be deferred accordingly.
The technical differences between this document and ISO 12319:2006, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.
---The normative references to the two management standards EN9100 and EN9133 have been removed (see Annex A of ISO 12319:2006).
To meet domestic usage requirements;
---Some terms have been deleted from ISO 12319:2006 (see sections 3.7 and 3.8 of ISO 12319:2006) because they do not appear in the text.
Application of terminology;
---The section on product and manufacturer qualifications in ISO 12319:2006 (see section 4.1 of ISO 12319:2006) has been removed to comply with...
Domestic usage habits;
---Replace ISO 9679 (see 4.8~4.12) with the normatively referenced GB/T 47583 to conform to domestic usage habits;
---Change the unit for "Minimum Axial Force" in Table 1 from "kg" to "N", and adjust the corresponding values (see 4.9) to conform to domestic usage.
Habit;
---Replace ISO 4892-3 (see 4.13) with the normatively referenced GB/T 16422.3 to conform to domestic usage practices;
---Replace ISO 2951 (see 4.14) with the normatively referenced GB/T 40720 to conform to domestic usage practices;
---The section on supplier inspection responsibilities in ISO 12319:2006 (see section 5.1 of ISO 12319:2006) has been removed to comply with international standards.
Internal usage habits;
---The pipe diameter "19mm (0.75in)" was changed to "20mm" (see Table 2) to meet domestic usage requirements;
---Replace ISO 2859-1 (see 5.2.3) with the normatively referenced GB/T 2828.1 to conform to domestic usage practices;
---The clause "The quality consistency test report shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 7" in ISO 12319:2006 has been deleted (see ISO 12319:2006).
(5.4), to conform to domestic usage habits;
---The content regarding the inclusion of certificates in the shipping manifest in ISO 12319:2006 has been deleted (see Chapter 7 of ISO 12319:2006).
In line with domestic usage habits;
---The normative annex concerning national certification procedures in ISO 12319:2006 has been deleted (see Annex A of ISO 12319:2006).
To meet domestic usage requirements.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
---To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "General Specification for P-shaped (ring-shaped) Clamps in Aerospace";
---Additional information has been added regarding the order and number of identification tests in the sample (see notes in Table 2).

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Definition document
The document directly specifies all the requirements for the clamps.
Note. Normative documents may be international standards, internal standards, or drawings.
Inspection lot
A batch of clamps from a single production batch originating from the same regulatory document.
In sampling inspection, the acceptable average process quality level is the maximum percentage of defects (or the maximum number of defects per hundred units).
Note. It is also a quality level with a high probability of passing the sampling plan.
Burr
Sharp protrusions on the periphery of the surface usually indicate a defect on the corresponding side.
[Source. GB/T 15757-2002, 4.2.6] 3.5 foreign material Foreign matter on the surface of the clamp or rubber pad.
Examples. contaminants, dirt, debris.
