Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document is modified to adopt ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 "Qualification principles for metal additive manufacturing coordinators".

The technical differences between this document and ISO/ASTM 52935:2023, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---ISO/ASTM 52900 (see Chapter 3) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 35351 to align with my country's additive manufacturing standards.

The conventional definition of domain terms is easy to use;

---The definition of examiner in ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 has been revised (see 3.2) to adapt to the current situation of additive manufacturing enterprises in my country;

---The naming of personnel competency levels in ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 has been changed (see Chapter 5) to better suit the needs of additive manufacturing enterprises in my country.

Current status of the industry;

---The requirement for certification of the AM coordinator examiner in ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 (see 6.1, 6.3) has been removed; instead, identification document type and number are used.

The unique identifier has been replaced with a code, and the examiner's signature has been replaced with the examination authority's seal (see Chapter 7) to adapt to my country's additive manufacturing industry.

Current status of the enterprise;

---The installation qualification requirements of the normative reference document GB/T 45849 have been added (see Table B.1) to meet the qualification requirements of additive manufacturing equipment in my country.

Requirements are set.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---ISO/ASTM 52900 and ISO 17296-2 have been replaced with GB/T 35351 (see Chapter 1, 3.1, Appendix A) for informational reference;

---Move the content concerning the purpose and significance of this document from paragraph 3 of Chapter 1 of ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 to the introduction;

---The content of the ISO and IEC terminology database in ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 has been removed (see Chapter 3);

---The scope of responsibilities for the additive manufacturing coordinator has been expanded (see note 3 in 3.1);

---ISO/IEC 17024 has been replaced with GB/T 27024 (see 3.2) for informational reference;

---The certification of the AM coordinator examiner in ISO/ASTM 52935:2023 (see Table A.1) has been removed and replaced with the seal of the examination authority.

The examiner's signature is included (see Table A.1);

---ISO/ASTM 52901 has been replaced with GB/T 41508 (see Appendix B), which is used for informational purposes.

Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document assumes no responsibility for identifying patents.

Introduction

Additive manufacturing technology, as an emerging manufacturing process, is developing towards greater complexity, customization, and integration, enabling decentralized manufacturing.

This type of production, which reduces production costs and shortens delivery cycles, has already been applied in aerospace, medical, and other fields, and has broad application prospects. With the increasing...

The widespread application of material manufacturing technologies has placed higher demands on processing efficiency and consistency. This is especially true for industries such as automotive, rail transportation, aerospace, and medical.

In fields such as [unspecified], there are high requirements for the quality and safety of parts.

When additive manufacturing technology is used to produce industrial parts, the same quality and safety requirements must be met as with traditional manufacturing processes.

Therefore, when designing the production process and environment, it is necessary to ensure the consistency and repeatability of process quality and final product quality.

All personnel involved in the entire production process possess the corresponding skills and have obtained qualification certificates (see Appendix A for an example).

This document aims to provide guidance and standards for the qualification assessment of coordinators in general industrial applications. For specific industries or application areas (e.g.,...), further clarification may be needed.

(In aerospace, medical) or to meet regulatory requirements, specific requirements may be added during the qualification process.
