Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 23130:2020 "Milk and cooling equipment - Requirements for monitoring devices for bulk milk cooling tanks".

Compared with ISO 23130:2020, this document has undergone the following structural adjustments.

---The title of 4.2.1 has been removed;

---4.2.2~4.2.10 correspond to 4.2.1.1~4.2.1.9 in ISO 23130:2020, respectively.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 23130:2020, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---ISO 3918 (see Chapter 3) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 5981 to adapt to my country's technical conditions and increase operability.

Actual nature;

---ISO 5708 (see Chapter 3, 4.1.2.1) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 10942 to adapt to my country's technical conditions.

1 Scope

This document specifies the minimum performance and information requirements for monitoring devices used in bulk milk cooling tanks, as well as the minimum requirements for materials, design, and installation.

This document applies to the installation and use of monitoring devices for bulk milk cooling tanks in milking and cooling equipment in agricultural production.

The contents of the following documents, through normative references within the text, constitute essential provisions of this document. Dated citations are not included.

For references to documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5981 and GB/T 10942, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

monitoring device

A device for measuring, recording, and evaluating specific technical or operational parameters of bulk milk tanks.

First batch of milk

The amount of milk loaded into the tank during the time period from T0 to T1.

Blended batch

The amount of milk stored during the time period from T1 to T2.

milk

The total amount of milk dispensed during the time period from T0 to T2.
