1 Scope

GB/T 47410-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering short-chain chlorinated paraffins as a contaminant of the medium and long-chain products - they are listed under the Stockholm Convention, and the question for a producer is how much of the banned fraction its permitted product contains. This document describes the determination of C10-C13 short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in chlorinated paraffin products. Method A is gas chromatography. Method B is gas chromatography. (Method A is electron capture negative chemical ionization source mass spectrometry.) This document applies to the determination of short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in chlorinated paraffin products, wherein the detection limit for Method A is 100 mg/kg, the detection limit for method B is 0.10%.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
