3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Silkworm varieties or strains with relatively stable genetic traits, consistent morphological characteristics and biological properties, and appropriate names.
Note. This includes local varieties, bred varieties, introduced varieties, gene-mutant lines, and other genetic intermediate materials.
3.2 hibernatingegg The silkworm eggs were produced in the same year and preserved in a diapause state until they were used the following year.
4 Basic Requirements
4.1 Preserved germplasm resources are not lost, and their inherent characteristics are maintained.
4.2 Investigate and record the biological characteristics and economic traits of germplasm resources.
