Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is Part 46 of GB/T 4706 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". GB/T 4706 has been published as follows part.

--- Part 1: General requirements;

--- Part 2: Particular requirements for electric irons;

--- Part 121: Particular requirements for professional ice cream machines.

This document replaces GB 4706.46-2014 "Particular requirements for safety of milking machines for household and similar electrical appliances" and Compared with GB 4706.46-2014, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Note 102 in the scope of Chapter 1 has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2014 Edition);

b) The symbol and content of the mark have been changed (see 7.1, 7.6, 7.14 and 7.15, 7.1, 7.6, 7.14 and 7.15 of the 2014 edition);

c) The relevant requirements of the instructions have been changed (see 7.12, 7.12 of the 2014 edition).

This document is equivalent to IEC 60335-2-70:2013 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 2-70.Special Requirements for Milking Machines" Require".

The following minimal editorial changes were made to this document.

--- The name of the document is changed to "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 46: Particular Requirements for Milking Machines", and the standard is strengthened.

Introduction

GB/T 4706 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" adopts most of IEC 60335.On this basis, GB/T 4706 refers to the structure of IEC 60335 is divided into several parts, which are composed of general requirements and special requirements. Part 1 is general requirements, and the other parts are for products covered by special requirements, their safety requirements are general requirements combined with the special requirements.

The part marked "applicable" in the document indicates that GB/T 4706.1-2024 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Part 1: General Requirements" the corresponding clauses in the "Requirements" shall apply to this document; for the parts marked "replace" in this document, the clauses in this document shall prevail;

The "Add" part indicates that in addition to complying with the corresponding clauses in GB/T 4706.1-2024, the additional clauses in this document must also be complied with.

1 Scope

This chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following.

This document covers stables or open spaces for farm animals with a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V and other rated voltages not exceeding 480V.

Safety of milking machines used for milking animals (such as cows).

NOTE 101 Examples of milking machines include.

---Bucket milking machine;

---Direct-in-tank milking machine;

---Pipeline milking machine;

---Record ceremony milking machine;

---Independent gas and milk supply milking machine.

NOTE 102 All types of milking machines covered by this document are specified in ISO 3918.

Note 103.In cases where a 480V split-phase motor is required, the single-phase rated voltage may exceed the upper limit of 250V.

NOTE 104 This document applies to milking integrated units used to form a complete milking machine supplied by the same manufacturer. This document may be used to Safety guidelines for milking machines consisting of milking integrated units are provided.

Note 105.Pay attention to the following.

--- For milking machines intended for use in vehicles or on board ships, some additional requirements may be required.

--- In many countries, additional requirements are provided by national health care departments, responsible for labor protection, national water supply departments and similar departments.

3.1.9 Replaces.

Normal operation

--- During continuous operation, the vacuum pump and various devices of the pulsation system work at the rated vacuum degree;

---The work performed by the breast pump when the vacuum system is operating at the rated vacuum degree of the vacuum pump;

--- During the milking process, the vacuum pump, pulsation system and milking pump operate continuously in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions;

--- During the cleaning process, the vacuum pump, pulsation system, milking pump and cleaning system operate continuously in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
