GB/T 4706.36-2024 is the English-translated version of 家用和类似用途电器的安全第36部分：商用电开水器和液体加热器的特殊要求.

GB/T 4706.36-2024 is the Chinese standard "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 36: Particular requirements for commercial water electric boilers and liquid heaters".

Its scope clause reads: This chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following. This document specifies the safety and security requirements for commercial electric water boilers and liquid heaters for boiling or heating liquids for the manufacture of beverages, not intended for household use.

For single-phase appliances connected to one phase and neutral line, the rated voltage shall not exceed 250V, and other appliances shall not exceed 480V. NOTE 101 These appliances are used in restaurants, food stores, hospitals and commercial establishments such as bakeries and butchers.

NOTE 102 The equipment may be embedded in a vending machine, in which case the commercial vending machine standard also applies. The electrical parts of appliances using other forms of energy are also within the scope of this document.

This document deals with the common hazards posed by this type of equipment.

Note 103.Pay attention to the following. --- For equipment intended for use exclusively in vehicles, ships or aircraft, additional requirements may be necessary; --- The relevant national management departments may impose additional requirements on the equipment; --- For pressure equipment, additional requirements specified by many countries.
