GB/T 4706.116-2024 is the Chinese standard "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 116: Particular requirements for electric heating stove".

Its scope clause reads: This chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following. This document specifies the safety requirements for electric heating stoves for household and similar purposes.

This document applies to household and similar appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V for single-phase appliances and 480V for other appliances. An electric heating furnace intended to heat water to a temperature below boiling point.

As far as is practical, the common hazards presented by the various appliances covered by this document are those that are present in the home and its surroundings.

However, in general this document does not consider the following situations. ---The following groups (including children). - due to a physical, sensory or mental impairment, or - Due to lack of experience and knowledge, Conditions that render them incapable of using the appliance safely without supervision or instruction. --- Condition of children's play equipment.

Note 101.Pay attention to the following. --- For equipment intended for use in vehicles, ships or aircraft, additional requirements may be required; --- The relevant national management departments may impose additional requirements on the equipment; ---National authorities have regulations for the installation of equipment connected to water sources.

Note 102.This document does not apply to. ---Liquid heater (GB/T 4706.19); --- Storage water heaters (GB/T 4706.12); ---Instantaneous water heaters (GB/T 4706.11); --- Indoor heaters (GB/T 4706.23); --- Thermal storage room heaters (GB/T 4706.44); ---The rear end heat dissipation system of the electric heating furnace; ---Pressure vessel (TSG21, TSGR7001) with maximum working pressure >= 0.1MPa, inner diameter >= 150mm and water tank volume >= 30L Heating furnace, the medium is gas, liquid gas or liquid with the maximum working temperature higher than or equal to the standard boiling point; --- Apparatus intended for use in special environments, such as places where corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or methane) are present; --- Commercial vending machines (GB/T 4706.72). Its clauses include terms and definitions.

This chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following.

This document specifies the safety requirements for electric heating stoves for household and similar purposes.

This document applies to household and similar appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V for single-phase appliances and 480V for other appliances.

An electric heating furnace intended to heat water to a temperature below boiling point.
