1 Scope
This part of GB/T 4702 specifies the determination of nitrogen content by distillation separation - Nessler reagent spectrophotometry.
This part is applicable to the determination of nitrogen content in metal chromium, the determination range (mass fraction). 0.002% ~ 0.150%.

3 principle
The sample was dissolved in dilute sulfuric acid at low temperature to convert its converted nitrogen to ammonium salt. The cooled solution was transferred to a distillation flask and a certain amount of hydrogen

4 Reagents and Materials

Weigh 0.3826g ammonium chloride (content of more than 99.9%, 105 °C ± 5 °C oven temperature 1h, cooled to room temperature), dissolved
100mL of water, into the 1000mL volumetric flask, diluted with water to the mark, mix, this solution 1mL containing 100.0µg nitrogen.
