1 Scope

GB/T 46930-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering weighing the ingredients of a feed correctly - the accuracy required of each scale by the size of the addition, the calibration and its frequency, the sequence of addition and the verification that the mix that left the plant is the formula that was ordered. The requirements describe the verification method. This document applies to the control of ingredient proportioning accuracy in the feed production process. This document is not applicable to the conformity assessment of feed product quality.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 10647, GB/T 18695, and GB/T 27738-2011, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

3.1 Batching accuracy A single-scale batching and weighing system that has been verified, calibrated, or validated and is within its validity period is used for weighing a certain component or batch of feed. 3.2 The batching accuracy is measured by the batching and weighing system during batching operations in accordance with the automatic control program under normal production conditions.

3.3 Batching accuracy limit In both automatic and manual batching operation, the batching and weighing system operates within its rated minimum and maximum weighing capacity range. Within the specified range, the maximum permissible relative error for weighing a single component or the entire batch of products.
