Scope
GB/T 46606.1-2025 is the English-translated version of 塑料 粉状三聚氰胺/酚醛模塑料(MP-PMCs)第1部分:命名系统和分类基础.
GB/T 46606.1-2025 — This document specifies a character group system for naming powdered melamine/phenolic molding compounds (MP-PMCs). This document applies to all general-purpose MP-PMCs in powder, granular, or ground form.
Note 1.Various models of MP-PMC are named according to the type and content of filler/reinforcing materials, molding and processing methods, special properties, and other designations.
A classification system for information such as special performance (characteristic performance) is used to distinguish them. Note 2.Materials with the same name do not necessarily have the same properties.
This document does not provide engineering specifications for material forming, processing, or specific applications. Data, performance data, or processing condition data.
If such additional performance data is required, use the appropriate test methods specified in GB/T 46606.2. The test method was used for determination. Note 3.This character set system is also used in situations where it is necessary to specify the general performance covered by GB/T 46606.3.
