Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document is modified to adopt ISO 21329:2004 "Test procedures for mechanical connections in pipeline transportation systems for the oil and gas industry".
Compared with ISO 21329:2004, this document has undergone the following structural adjustments.
---7.1 corresponds to 7.1 and 7.2 in ISO 21329:2004;
---7.2~7.9 correspond to 7.3~7.10 in ISO 21329:2004;
---Chapter 14 corresponds to Annex E of ISO 21329:2004;
---Appendix B (Normative) corresponds to Annex C of ISO 21329:2004;
---Appendix C corresponds to Appendix F in ISO 21329:2004;
---Appendix D corresponds to Appendix G in ISO 21329:2004;
---Appendix E corresponds to Appendix B in ISO 21329:2004;
---Appendix F corresponds to Appendix D in ISO 21329:2004;
---Appendix G corresponds to Appendix H in ISO 21329:2004.
The technical differences between this document and ISO 21329:2004, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.
---The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1) to comply with relevant national standards;
---The terms and definitions of "actual yield strength," "according to agreement," "manufacturer," and "purchaser" have been removed (see section [number missing] of ISO 21329:2004).
Chapter 3);
---The terminology and definition of "Hook & Loop" have been changed (see 3.4, 3.6 of ISO 21329:2004) for ease of understanding and use;
---Change the title of Chapter 7, "Requirements for Connectors," to "Requirements for Prototype Preparation" (see Chapter 7, Section 7 of ISO 21329:2004).
(Chapter), due to discrepancy between title and content, to avoid misunderstanding;
---ISO 783:1999 (see 7.5.3) has been replaced by the normatively referenced GB/T 4338-2006, and GB/T 44148 (all parts) has been replaced by GB/T 44148.
ISO 9327 (all parts) (see 7.5.2) has been replaced by GB/T 16253, and EN10213 (see 7.5.2) has been replaced by GB/T 16253.
GB/T 228.1 replaces ISO 6892:1998 (7.5.2, 7.5.3), and GB/T 229 replaces ISO 148-1 (see GB/T 229).
7.5.2) replaces ISO 3183-1, ISO 3183-2, and ISO 3183-3 with GB/T 9711 (see 7.5.2 and 7.6.4); deletes EN10222-1, ASTM A694/A694M, and ASTM A370 (see 7.5.2, 7.5.3) are used to facilitate the application of this document;
---The statement "The internal pressure leak test using the bubble method specified in GB/T 21267 for gas testing can be used" replaces ISO 13679.
Figure 4 from 2002 (see 9.1) suffers from unclear descriptions and a limited range of leak detection methods;
---The normatively referenced GB/T 21267 has replaced ISO 13679:2002 (see 9.3) to adapt to my country's technical conditions and clarify [the relevant standards].
Specific methods for detecting external pressure leaks;
---Table 5 has been added, and the steps of the test procedure have been modified (see 11.4.2) to make the test procedure description clearer and simpler;
---Table 6 has been added, and the steps of the test procedure have been modified (see 11.4.3) to make the test procedure description clearer and simpler;
---Table 7 has been added, and the steps of the test procedure have been modified (see 11.5) to make the test procedure description clearer and simpler;
---Table 8 has been added, and the steps of the test procedure have been modified (see 11.6.2) to make the test procedure description clearer and simpler;
---Table 9 has been added, and the steps of the test procedure have been changed (see 11.7) to make the test procedure description clearer and simpler.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
---The formula for calculating relative error has been numbered and referenced in the text (see 8.2.2);
---Formula numbers (4) to (17) have been changed to numbers (5) to (18), and references have been added to the text (see 11.3);
---Due to the complex format and incomplete content of the experimental data table, the experimental data table has been modified (see Appendix F).
