1 Scope

GB/T 46547-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the code that identifies a registered unit of natural resource - a parcel of land, water, forest, grassland or mineral right - so that ownership, use rights and boundaries can be held in one national register. First edition, under the Ministry of Natural Resources. It was issued on 2 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 April 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Natural Resources. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 natural resources The sum of natural environmental factors that exist naturally, have value, and can improve human welfare in the present and future. [Source: TD/T 1077-2023, 3.13]

3.3 Each natural resource registration unit is assigned a unique and identifiable identifier according to certain rules.

4 Code Structure

4.1 Each natural resource registration unit shall have a unique code, and natural resource registration shall be conducted in accordance with the basic principles and methods specified in GB/T 7027. The unit code adopts a three-level 15-bit hierarchical code structure, and the code hierarchy structure is shown in Table 1.
