1 Scope

GB/T 46501-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the room where appliances are tested on real users - the layout and the observation arrangement, the recording equipment and the acoustics, the utilities the appliances need, and the consent and privacy of the participants. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document specifies the design requirements for a user experience laboratory for home appliances. This document applies to the design of a home appliance user experience laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the "Laboratory").
