1 Scope

GB/T 46497-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering grading a used fridge or air conditioner for resale - the age and the remaining safe service life, the electrical safety and insulation checks, the refrigerant charge and the performance measured against the original rating, and the cosmetic condition. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 21667 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Household appliances that have entered the fields of production and consumption, and retain some or all of their original use value.

3.2 Second-hand refrigerators Refrigerators that have entered the fields of production and consumption while retaining some or all of their original use value.
